Jacob Sartorius

JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius, a boy born in Oklahoma was raised in Tulsa. He was brought to Virginia for adoption after his parents became ill and were unable or unwilling to care for him. The adoptive family were raised in Reston Virginia. As a young boy of seven years old, he began singing in musicals and discovered his passion for singing. Before the closure of Vine which was an American short-form video hosting service in 2017, Sartorius lip-syncing videos posted on Vine gained over eight million fans in August of 2016. Social media provided him with a way to escape being bullied because he was victimized. He has said that he wasn't the most social person prior to Musical.ly. He was sure that no one was watching him, aside from the camera.
